17th Annual Christmas Light Parade & Tree Lighting
Floats March In
More than 100 floats will march down Coleman Boulevard as the Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade sets sail to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors. The tree lighting and fireworks display begins at approximately 5:30 pm at Moultrie Middle School, immediately followed by the parade beginning at around 5:45 pm.

The parade starts at the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Pelzer Drive, then continues past Shem Creek to conclude at the Sea Island Shopping Center around 7:15 pm.

Road Closures:
  • Northbound Patriots Point Blvd/McGrath Darby to Pelzer closes at 4:00 p.m.
  • Southbound Pelzer to Houston Northcutt closes at 4:00 p.m.
  • All Lanes Pelzer to Sea Island Shopping Center close at 5:00 p.m.

The parade starts at Shem Creek, proceeds up Coleman Boulevard & ends at Sea Island Shopping Center. The Old Village will be accessible from McCants Drive via Rifle Range Road. Russell Drive will be accessible from Chuck Dawley Boulevard.
