19th Annual Christmas Light Parade & Tree Lighting
Floats March In
More than 100 floats will march down Coleman Boulevard as the Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade sets sail to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors. The tree lighting and fireworks display begins at approximately 5:30 pm at Moultrie Middle School, immediately followed by the parade beginning at around 5:45 pm.

Road Closures:
  • Northbound Patriots Point Blvd/McGrath Darby to Pelzer closes at 4:00 p.m.
  • Southbound Pelzer to Houston Northcutt closes at 4:00 p.m.
  • All Lanes Pelzer to Sea Island Shopping Center close at 5:10 p.m.

The parade starts at the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Pelzer Drive, crosses over Shem Creek, proceeds up Coleman Boulevard and concludes at Sea Island Shopping Center around 8:00 p.m.

The Old Village will be accessible from McCants Drive via Rifle Range Road. Russell Drive will be accessible from Chuck Dawley Boulevard.

Participation:
The entry form will be available here in mid-September.  Entry is open to Mount Pleasant organizations and businesses only for one month.  After we receive 100 entries, we go on a wait list.
